Hope to join you with a first (starting next week).

Congrats!

Also, I remember my first turkey... when I cut into the crawl, I thought something was wrong with the bird. He'd been eating young tender shoots of green.

I almost discarded the bird thinking something was wrong with him!

Again.. congrats!

Good looking bow for sure...

Got a pic of you with your face in it?   I got your email and didn't know if you wanted me to use this pic or another one.

Let me know and I'll add it up.

My first bow killed turkey was also of the green skin/puss variety.
Had lead shot in him.  I was quite happy to have him.  Good job!  Every bow kill is a trophy.
no clue how to do this

I think I'll take the one tail feather and stick it a hat LOL

I was wondering if maybe he hadn't been shot but I didn't cut into him to much to find any lead shot.

Good going Kris, congrats on your first of many more trad turkeys. To bad about the condition he was in, but none of them are easy to hunt with our sticks and strings.
