I recently bought a new take-down recurve, and am in the process of getting it set-up to shoot this coming weekend.  What have you found to be your favorite bow shelf material? Velcro, leather, etc?  Any pics of your set-up would be great!  Thanks.

I just use adhesive backed velcro, because it's cheap and quiet. When it gets dirty just peel it off and stick on a new peice.

I have been using industrial velcro, grey in color, seems to hold up well and it's cheap. I liked the old Bear rug rest from years ago but it's harder to find and more money. Sealskin works well but don't seem to last long for me for some reason.

I likes seal skin whn it was available. Now I use a leather rest like those that come with Martins bows.

Another vote for sealskin, velcro doesn't seem to last too long for me.

Hi,
I use industrial Velcro strip (the soft part) and when is too used, with a very little cost, I replace with a new piece.
Thanks
