Awesome.  I bought a Shawnee riser, and a set of used copperhead skinned limbs.  I love Bob's bows.  ILF is next on the list.   I have some fresh cottonmouth skins just for the project.  I can't wait until I start the build.  Morrison Bows are like an addiction.  I thought that the Shawnee would be my end all bow.  Now I am looking at Morrison's latest flavor, but must keep the Shawnee.  What an addiction.

You must also be patient as well as thrifty, what is waiting time for that bow?  Last year I sold my 64 olds sold my BMW motorbike, sold my Goldwing, traded in my '88 van for a new Subaru, bought two new bows, three new concert guitars, but I still have the same dog and the same wife.  Careful, that this gettin' new stuff doesn't go too far.  If I were you I would trade that ford in for a new huntin' truck.  You may need to sell some of those old guns.

I always buy used, but very nice (or the highest quality I can buy) stuff, and get the best deal I can. I drive luxury European automobiles, but bought them for a song each as they are 8/9 years old now. My mechanic is an immensely talented, slightly nutty dude who barely charges me. I keep him busy in turn. I have a wonderful modern home bought before the market went white hot, and no crazy mortgage either. I was lucky enough to have left over furniture from my folks and a few industry connections to fill it with collector pieces.Wife and I have been together since 1993 and it seems to be working out well. I searched for and bought all my Black Widows the same way. Can't wait to get rid of my last few guns and buy another "pre-owned" Widow or two!

I'm learning to be "more thrifty" in my late 30s, but I do like shiny things still, a tiny little bit. I've been lucky enough to get to "have Xmas all the time" as my wife says.

Good on you for getting that new bow finally, brother!

fido dog, well you sure made a good choice when you decided on "new". Use your 98 Taurus to haul that Morrison back from the post office, your camera to take pics of it, and your computer to post those pics on Trad Gang when you get it. Enjoy that fine bow, congratulations!

Your gonna be very happy you treated yourself to one of Bob's fine bows.

Being wise with your money lets you buy new once in awhile.  Hope it is worth every penny and shoots like a dream for you.  It sure looks good.
