I got my mailer from 3 Rivers Archery and saw they picked your book up as a new item:
One With the Wilderness.
A good read that I highly recommend.

I wanted to comment again...

I've thought alot about Mike and his adventures alone.  Especially the chapter where he tells the story about the brown bear that came in close to his camp.  Mike cut brush and brushed around his tent ( I guess as a kind of bear coming for him alarm)..  I NEVER would have been able to sleep that night.

I have nothing but admiration for his solo trips as I know I never would take such trips alone in brown bear country!

Great book that every bowhunter should own.

My favorite chapters are not even about solo bowhunting or trips. Chapter 22 about Mike's friend Bart Schleyer is the best in the book.

Just got a copy last Saturday night at the New York Bowhunters dinner and auction, a signed copy with a note inside the front cover. I just looked thru quick and I can't wait to read it. Even the pictures are fantastic.

The book is one of the very best and I would consider it a must have for any bowhunters library.
Also Mike is a fantastic public speaker. He was a speaker at our United Bowhunters of Illinois annual banquet this last March.

Just as a follow through.
I liked every chapter of this book.  Tried to think of a favorite and couldn't.  I told him he needs to write a sequal, which I hope he is working on.

I had the priviledge to work for and with Mike, he actually got me started in the industry, for which I will always owe him a debt of gratitude.

You won't find another Mike Mitten anywhere.  A true class act.

Looking forward to reading this book by a great bowhunter.

I really enjoyed the book. Great read. I was part of the book that is getting passed around under Trad Books and Videos.
Probably need to pick it up so I can reread it.

Thank you so much guys. This is a very humbling thread. Currently, most of my free time is spent writing narrations, filming and assisting with editing of our sequel to the Primal Dreams film.
This has been a challenging year for me, but the comments from many people regarding my book have made it quite rewarding.
Beyond Brothers of the Bow, my book's 2nd edition is now available with many vendors including 3Rivers Archery, Kustom King, Bob Lee Archery, J&M Traditions and many more.  Thank you all for your support, Mike

As others have said: tremondous read, adventure of the highest caliber, storytelling that brings you right in, and a must have for your library.

I will have to start re-reading it again now!

One of the best books I've read in years. Hard to put down once started. Very few of my books have I read twice but I'm on my third journey already with this one.

Finished reading it today.

Really enjoyed the stories of all the different hunts, people, family and adventure Mike has experienced.

I would recommend it to anyone.

Good Job Mike!
