Well, after my ancient 10x12 wall tent ripped in a bad windstorm last summer I was in the market. It was the first time my wife and stepgirls had stayed in a wall tent and they loved it, so after mine was destroyed (the canvas was a bit rotten) my darling wife gave me the go ahead to order a new one. I did a lot of research and I beleive I bought the best. Ordered the works, tent, stove, poles, porch, stovepipe, waterheater. I can't wait to use it. My friend has one and he loves his. I've stayed in it a couple of times and it was great. The stove had the best draft control I've seen in a tent stove and I've used a few different ones. Anyone else ever have any exprience with them?

I don't have any experience with them ,but I'd sure like to see your set-up ,it sounds great,How big ,how heavy etc.etc.

I ordered the 12X15 tent with a 9' porch and the stove is 14X14X26. My buddy has the 12x12 with the same stove. What I love about the stove is you can turn the draft way down and the temp will stay nice all night even if it's not real cold out. I find that most stoves you can't stand how hot it is for the 1st 2 hours and then the fire goes out.

As for weight my whole set up will be heavy but I'll jsut use it for truck camping.

Good stuff Randy, I am taking my wall tent to the Jamboree this year, haven't had it set up for a while. I need a new stove badly, bought one of the Yukon stoves last year but it is too dangerous for my liking. Something about straight gas dripping into the tent.
The 12 x 15 should be good.

I used to own the 12'x18'.  Wonderful tent!

I don't think I'd be comfortable with that either, Terry. The Jamboree might be the first time I get to use the new tent as well. I will be getting the tent near the end of June. Dave and I might also use it on an antelope hunt this fall if we get drawn. We should, our priorities are up there.

Here is mine, I really enjoy it. I will be setting it up the end of the month for my turkey hunt.

I put carpet and rugs down for flooring, makes it more comfortable to stay a week to ten days. I also made the front porch post out of cedar.
