Just wondering if anyone has shot the steelfore premium 2 blade broadheads. Look slike a pretty nice head 1 3/16 cut. Also where can I buy them at ?

3 rivers has them.  If you do a search on pow wow there is some info.

The stats on them don't look any different than the Sabertooth series. I tried some of those years ago and ended up throwing them in the trash. When they bent going through ethafoam, I knew I didn't want to shoot an animal with them.  

As I recall, they were all the rage for trad shooters several years ago...until people started folding them over on whitetails.

I have some of the new 300 grain single bevels and they don't bend in concrete. They are seriously tough heads. Of course you can get some great broadheads from some sponsors here that will easily do the same. Abowyer comes to mind.

The African Phathead is a beast-----not a 3:1 ratio though. I like Steelforce heads, never seent one bend unless I hit something I shouldn't have hit.

I shoot fat head 125's. I shoot through a rabbit, and hit a steel pole, @  15 yards, there is not even a scratch on the phat head.

I have been using them for years, glue on for my wood arrows and the sabertooth for my carbons.  I have not had any bend, even when hitting the the ground on a miss.

Steel Force Premium 2-blade... I've used them for 2 years (125gr. screw-in).  Very happy with their flight, performance and results.

Looking at the new 145 grain Phat heads...probably going to pick up a pack or two.

Then again I'm a broadhead nut so I would probably get some anyway!

I've never tried the premium series but the 200 gr phatheads are darn near bullet proof. Every now and then I flinch and miss my 16x16 target and the arrow hits an 8" block wall, no damage to the head at all. Most of the time the arrow splits.

Thanks for all the responses, but I believe yall are talking about two different heads. if you go to there website they have the premium two blade a traditional 2 blade the traditional is a little pricey the premium is only like 25-30.00 for 3. Thats the one I was looking at they have double edge as the traditional is a single bevel.

The premiums are good heads. You will like them.

I have used them with the bleeders and they are a good head. I had one penetrate 3/4 of the way through the far shoulder of an elk. That was where the ridge of shoulder runs through and this was on a 3/4 away shoot.

The non-premium 4 bladers are not a good head. I saw three of them fall apart on one black bear hunt. My wheelie friends have since gone to the premiums which seem better.

I have had them come apart as well.
there are better broadheads for less money out there in my opinion.

I don't know where the "bad" press came from on the Steel Force broadheads.  I use the 140gr. Sabertooth with a 100gr steel adaptor.  I made a bad shot on my deer this year and hit the leg bone just below the ham.  Broke the leg bone and the arrow looks as good as new.

I wouldn't say it's bad press, just bad experiences with them. Alot of people love them and swear by them, but I personally have had the main and bleeder blades come out of the ferrule when pulled out of a target! And more than once. Not the kind of dependability/reliability I look for in a head.  

I was never a steelforce user or fan Until the PHATHEAD. Unbelievable broadhead. Can't destroy it and most of my game has fallen in sight. And I can resharpen them, or steelforce will for me.
