Definitly take them back and show the owner what type of job his shop produced. He should correct the situation to your satisfaction.

Buy a jig from the classifieds and end the guess work.  Even though I've only been "trad" for a short while, I have always fletched my own arrows.  Years later, I have so many friends having me fletch their arrows that they practically pay for my supplies.  Of course I make them buy their own plastic vanes.
What??? I take it there must be others out there in the closet that hate making arrows too!! Wahoo!! I'm not alone!!

Archery isn't something I do, it's who I am!
The road to "Sherwood" makes for an awesome journey.

That's a train wreck. I would ask for my money back then take them some where else.

It isn't right, and the manager/ownner should be made aware, quietly of course.
He should make it right.  He should have inspected them before they left the shop, doesn't make any difference who did the work, his name is on the work.
Archery is a family sport, enjoy it with your family.
