I recently sold a bow to another Oregon man. Come to find out he is a "Tradganger" by the name of Bigstick!   :wavey:   Really enjoyed the short amount of time I got to talk with him. Talk about a gentle giant! Wow, 6'6" to my 5'10". I think Mike could pack the whole elk by himself! It was good meeting you Mike. I hope you enjoy that Blacktail and if you ever want to sell it..let me know!

You know Dave, you hear of all these get togethers back east, wish we west coasters would start getting together. Be a good way to meet a lot of Trad Gangers. If anything, I know we got quite a few right here in Oregon.

I'm down here in Eugene...for a few more years anyway. Then I'm out of here! Too many people and more and more those who don't like hunting.

Snag-

You're not kidding about Eugene, population, and non-hunter types.  My wife has family in the Cottage Grove and Drain area-sure is a pretty place to visit.  When you pull camp, come on over to Idaho, lot more hunter friendly   :archer:

Snag,

How in the world did a hunter and archer end up in the land of granola eating, pot smoking, peaceniks in Eugene?  I live in Vancouver, Wa and the population is exploding but we still have a lot of hunters around to chat up and hang with.

I agree we should start getting trad gangers together for turkey hunts, rabbit hunts, etc.. Lots of us around on this side of the US.

I'm third generation Eugenean. It was a good place to grow up. But it's "flavor" is souring. Now that we have seen what happens when you ban hunting cats with dogs the good folks of this town there are more sitings of cats in and around town.

I have met 4 or 5 Tradgang's , all of them where at traditional shoots, there's a wealth of knowledge on here, and it's good to give your own experiences back, that's what keeps this a great site.
