Since Spring has graced us with its presence we have made a point to loose some arrows every night. Walker is wielding a Black Rhino longbow that propels the neatest looking crested little wooden arrows. Makes a daddy proud!  :D

A tale of an imaginary deer hunt...
(Hit F5 if pictures don't load properly)

Lone doe makes an appearance and has gone unnoticed thus far.

Realization sets in...we all know what this look means!

Now, it may appear that he is leading her a bit too far. However, you forget that at a speed of 7fps he has to take the rotation of the Earth into account!

After a clean miss he immediately explains the reason behind his error. It begins with, "A mosquitoe hiccupped and then a fly broke wind..."

And that was the conclusion to the excuse, "Then, to top it off, the darn thing dodged my arrow. His kung fu was just too strong."

It's not the arrival, it's the journey.

Awesome! How old's your little Robin Hood? Great looking form I might add, I'm a little envious.

Jon S

That looks great, have one on the way, hope he or she wants to shoot as well.  That is the stuff memories are made of.

The Whittler

It's to bad they don't stay little just a little while longer. Congrats, you are a lucky dad.

Great thread!!!

I remember those days. Take the time to enjoy it, and keep it fun.

Nice little bow(s)! Quality equipment for your kids is an investment you will never regret.

Kids and bows go together naturally. Teach them when they are young, and there will always be a calm spot in their soul that will show through in everything they do throughout their lives.

Good job dad(s)!

That is awesome. My 3 boys are now a bit older, more and different interests. Like said before, savour every minute, the next thing you know they are talkin about girls and football  :)
Way to go!!
