well i got my bowfin back! i shot it last august with my 55# k-mag. i always wanted a fish mount and this guy fit the bill. its 29.5" long and was 11#.....ive shot alot of big buffalo and carp but i really wanted a bowfin and a big gar...so tomorrow starts my hunt for a big gar:)

Bowfin, grendal, or mudfish in these parts.  I like it!

Looks great, something different than normal. Might borrow your idea for more home decore my wife will not appreciate the way we do.

That's not a snakehead fish.  It's a bowfin.  Bowfin are native to the U.S.
