I was tuning a bow today I always shoot a 29 inch 2016 with a 125 gr point, well i was bare shafting today and i could only get great arrow flight when i put a 145 grain point on, my question is i would like to keep shooting a 125 grain point do you think if i cut a little off my arrow i could use a 125gr?

That would only compound the problem, as it seems you are already a little stiff with the 125 grain point.  Try a 2016 at 29.5" with the 125 grain point and go from there.  Just my 2 cents.  Mark

Dont quote me on it, but if you went heavier and it shot better you would have to make you arrows a little LONGER. Your spine was too stiff so when you added weight it weakened it. The other way to do it is to make it longer. Shorter makes it stiffer
