Could some one tell me what (ttt, up) and all that other stuff means it is confusing.. Thank you

I had to ask the same question a while back
ttt = to the top
used to move a thread back up

ttt means "to the top"  it is used if a persons thred does not get much attention at the time and they want it to be seen . so they post on it and it gets kicked back to the top of the page.

"ttt" means........"To-The-Top".....I don't know what "all that other stuff"......is exactly.

I was fortunate when I first became a member, someone posted ttt in the classifides and had me thoroughly confused. Then about 3 posts later his buddy typed out "to the top". A lightbulb went off and I was saved!!!

I have to admit that it took me a while to figure that out too

As long as we are asking internet ?'s Some posts will end with  8>.  What does that mean.  I checked SveinD's list and it wasn't on there.

I always thought of it as a face, not a word or meaning.

Egads!! I remember asking that same question..maybe 10 or 15 years ago when I was drug out of my cave into this cyber world by some folks on here with member numbers lower than "184".
