Alright guys, I really need some advise. I have finally sold some bows, saved the money and can't scratch the itch until I purchase a bow. I have narrowed them down to the above three. I know I am splitting hairs but besides price points and wait times on a new one. What would you prefer and why???
Nothing brings three generations together like shooting tradional! Love you Pop, Brother Bear and my boys H & Luke.

I hate to say this but all 3 are great bows and what you choose is up to you. You have to live the bow and what works for me may not work for you.

GMMAT

Having shot all three, one stood/stands out as far superior to the rest.

Thing is....YOU could shoot them all and put the "others" above my choice.

In the end, we'd both be "right".

Good luck.

Guys if you had to pick one, which would it be??

Having two Widows of my own and based on my experience, go Widow, make it an X model and you get a trully exotic and built tough bow.

Best thing to do is shoot them for yourself.  Having said that get a widow.

Never shot a KS, but I have Widows and Silvertips.

If you are looking to buy a brand new one, I'd take the "try before you buy" offer that ST and Widows offers. I'd get them close to the specs you want and at the same time, so you can shoot them side by side.....and then decide which to spend your money on. All it cost is shipping, and I think both, but I know Widow reimburses you that if you buy one.

As for which one I'd take, all I remember is they are both REALLY nice bows...but that's about it. LOL! I guess neither were for me!

All three are great bowyers-no question. If you don't have a personal preference (ours really don't matter) it probably comes down to wait time and 'customization'. The BW can be made in 6 to 8 weeks and you get some options. The other two are true custom bows and give you a host more options and a much longer lead time.

You're getting a lot of "Make sure you get the same bow that I have!" answers, which tend to be a load of bollocks.

Now, I happen to own a Silvertip, and have owned an SA3. Both are wonderful bows.

I haven't seen or shot a Kwikstik, but I know from reading here that they have a strong reputation and do the job with excellence.

All these bows have a strong following.

If you can, shoot them all before deciding. If, like me, there is no way for you to do that, simply go with the one you like the looks of - you will not be disappointed no matter what decision you make.

Great advise been. I have shot the BW and pulled a left handed Kwik Styk but never have got to shoot the shcafer or KS. I know all three bows are outstanding and I feel blessed to have those three bows on the short list to purchase. Thanks again, keep them coming

I've not shot the KS. I find the Widow is easier to shoot accurately and bullet proof. Its a great hunting bow in my opinion. Try before you buy if you can but I doubt you can go wrong with either.

Aaron, you sure make life tough on yourself, trying to chose between these three.  Kinda like picking which Supermodel is cutest!
I've personally shot all three you mentioned and you know which way I went but I know guys who went a different route and couldn't be happier.
Honestly you owe it to yourself to take all three for a test drive and only then can you decide on what fits you the best. Good luck on the chase!

I have two Silvertips and four (yes, four!) BWs.  I would hate to have to choose between them, because the 'Tip and BW are both outstanding in terms of performance, smoothness, finish, and resale.  I've never shot a KS, but hear wonderful things about those bows as well.  Good luck on making a tough selection!
