Well fellas I have'int shot what I call a low poundage bow for some time now, so I have a ptf widow which is 45# @ 29" and I draw 29" and would like too shoot an arrow at BOP 30" and would like too shoot in the area of 500grains, I was thinking 150 heritage, any thoughts, thanks guys.

depending on the point weight, the 150 might be too stiff. Consider the 90.

Jack Whitmire Jr

Use the 90 with a  175 grain point and it should shoot great, they will weigh about 477 grains.

The 90's would be my choice, but make sure you get the newer 90's.When they first came out they were only 29",but now the newer ones are 30" now.

150's at 30"  will likely work (especially if you shoot fast flight string material)and will likely give you a nice heavy arrow.  90's will work too, just depends on what you want to accomplish..

Iam shooting d97 FF and 3/16th past center, would like the arrow in the area of 500 too 520.

Im shooting the 150's out of three different bow
There all 28.5" long with a 100 grain insert and 125 grain point

Shrew classic hunter 50# @ 27"
Wes Wallace longbow 51# @ 26"
Wes Wallace recurve 50# @ 28"
im drawing about 27"

I would think you should be able to make the 150' work

I think the 150's might work, your cut past center and a strong recurve.

I shoot 150's 30.5" 175g point, 550g total out of a Super Shrew LB thats #53 @ 30".

With your long arrow length and a heavy point you should be ok. Both of those will soften up the spine.

I am shooting 29" 150s, w/145 gr points and the aluminum inserts out of a 52# @ 28" PTF, drawing 27".  They fly great, I think 150s will work for you.

I vote for the 150's also.  I am shooting them out of a 46@28 Centaur with the standard insert and 200 grain tip at 29"s long.  Arrow weight is 540 grains.

The 150's will work just fine.

Another vote for the 150s leaving them that long.
