Our ole hunting buddy Matt Schuster just left me a message from the Paradise stating he has finally gotten flatten by a 200# boar. Side note here...i have said on this site a couple of times in the past..........there is arguebly not a finer spot and stalk hog hunter than Matt Schuster anywhere. His numbers are staggering but he is 50, single and hog hunts 48 weekends a year  :) ....He's in same class as RC and Hogdancer!..that kind of guy..........i'll try to drag ole Matt on here to tell the story but to get run over by a feral hog after all his experience...got to hear the story.......later...i hope
Aim down your arrow because thats where it's going.

hogdancer

I'd like to hear the story ! and thanks but I am nowhere near the hog hunter that  Matt and RC are.

I detect a little jealousy in this post from Joey! Word on the street is that if a bunch of guys went to the Paradise on Friday - single Matt's footprints were everywhere already! Ah the benefits! Somebody shoulda told us!

BTW, I bet it was closer to 100#'s......

While we wait, here is a photo of Shoeman from about 3 years ago when we hunted Kauai.

The last weekend of South Florida deer season- the stalker killed a hog one eve and a buck the next morning- but both from a treestand. He is a killer.

joebuck

Ho......he said you almost killed him on that trip!..i gaurentee you none of his arrows matched in weight or spine or lenght or BH's in that pic........Schuster is the Hobo of Traditional Bowhunters......Marty saw him last week on a tuesday in West Palm beach driving around with a 60# shout on ice in his truck.......he is a traveling hog depredation machine.

I'm a jealous Marty..my only near death charge missed.....i was "quick"!!!

"Ho......he said you almost killed him on that trip!"  That was the trip he saved my life!  Oh yeah...my water filter broke and we both got really sick from untreated water....maybe I DID almost kill him in all my gratitude!

Shoe musta been weak from the lack of soup, caused him to be slow....

Chris O

I'm looking forward to this! He sure knows what hes doing too.  He watched me stalk and miss my first hog down at rays!

Ok I am getting ramped up. Just got a month off at work for all my hard work in the past.

Need to hear some hog stories real bad.

Looking forward to learning here..making some arrows up and getting my gear ready for the trip.

Look like I will have my ACS ready next week and shipped to me....the BW PCHX is on the table in about 3-4 weeks.

Last weekend I shot with Matt at the TBOF Shoot. His go to bow had recently exploded on him and he was shooting a back-up which he wasn't use to. His string kept stretching to the point he had to get a new one. Tied on a nock point using the eye-ball method of measurement, then commenced to shooting using miss matched arrows.   :saywhat:

This could be the reason for his getting run over by the Hog.
Is it possible he may actually have mmmmmmmissed!!!!

Give us the truth Matt!!   :biglaugh:
