When I draw my 62" longbow the string hits me in the chest before I reach full draw. Do you ignore it and complete your draw of do you change form somehow?

Hollenbeck 64" longbow 50#@28"
Northern Mist 66"longbow 53#@27"
Early 80's 64"Custom Bighorn 66#@29"
pick your spot and burn a hole.

Height? Weight? Anchor point and draw length would help also.

When I get to full draw my string just does touch the side of my chest. I don't pull back any further than that.

Fewer pushups and more twinkies!

Your case may be wildly different but when I was having that problem, I opened my stance a bit and the problem went away.

Cant the bow a little it should help.
Some people live an entire lifetime and wonder if they have ever made a
difference in the world, but the Marines don't have that problem.
