I shoot arrow dynamic trad lites with 160 grain snuffers and a steel broadhead adapter for a total point weight of 260.  I would like to try the magnus bull head but they are only available in 125 screw in.  My arrows are already setup with inserts glued in.  My question is can I make up the weight difference between the two points by adding weed eater line to the shaft so that the two arrows weigh the same.  I know that the spine will be different (the arrow spines well with both points) so that is not a concern I would like the trajectory of the two shafts to be the same. Can this be accomplished?  I am open to ideas but would prefer not to change inserts.

U could try some weight tubes. 3 rivers sells a variety of different sizes.

Man the only way I can think to regain that much weight is with a heaver insert. Did you use epoxy or hot melt? I've heard that the AD's are not hollow all the way through at least the AD's that I have are not so the weight tubes will have to be put in through the nock end and that might be too small a diameter to get a weight tube in plus it will only go in about 3/4 the length of the shaft. A hundred grain insert would just about get you there.

Hopefully someone will chime in with a better idea.

3 Rivers has a weight system that screws into the back of an insert.  This would keep you spine the same.  Whereas, weedeater line would keep you looking for nocks.

You have a great setup now why change broadheads? You could add some weight collars to increase your FOC with the new heads but ....I would stay with your present turkey killing arrow....
