Just got a Fine Set of Simmons Binoculars from Cabelas. Question: What do y'all do about the UnConnected Lens Covers? Thought about tying them on somehow, or maybe good old Velcro??
Just dont want to leave them at Home or the Truck, going through the Brush just might scratch them up. A Little Bit.

the covers are often made to connect to the neck strap, usually by a loop on one or both sides of the cover.  just pass the strap through the loop, connect it to the binos and your good to go.

Find some way to keep them attached.  You'll really miss them some day when it's snowing and you can't keep the lenses dry.

Well, I dont have any Slits in the Covers to use. I am considering poking a Tiny, Fishing Line, hole in the Center of Each cap, Gluing the Little Knots Inside, then tying them onto the Binoc Frame, again Gluing the Attachment Knot.
Any OTHER Ideas Out There? C'mon Guys, I KNOW there are More Po' Folk out there with the Same Problem!!

I took my cpap mask bag it has draw strings to open and close ran the strap thru and it covers them nicely

I don't use covers on my binocs.  My glasses are waterproof, and covers would always be in the way.  Should add that I've been hunting this way for more than 40 years and have yet to scratch a lens because of a lack of a cover.

Get a after market bino cover such as the one made by butler creek. has the neck strap and chest harness and covers your glass as well.

I used a piece of leather on mine, been having them for about 10 years. The leather is still on there!

Lens covers are a headache in the field. I just leave them home. In many years I have never had a lens damaged.

Get a crooked horn bino set up. It has the strap for carrying and a stretch cover for binos. It covers them and keeps them out of the way. Lens covers are kind of a pain popping off and what not.

Where can I find such an animal?? Sounds Good!!

I made a cover for mine using a scrap of leather about 5x6". Cut 2 slits in it and slid it on the straps. When I raise them to look, it just drops out of the way. I made this to stop them from getting wet and dirty all the time.

Thats a Good Idea for the Eye "Holes", but what about the Business Ends?? Just asking. I have made a Binoc Bag to carry them in, just afraid of Losing the Covers.
