My second PCH-X came Thursday a Curly Narra spec's are 54" 51@27" so its a twin to my Zircote/Tiger myrtle 54" 50@27" PCH I already have had a few weeks. They shoot about the same I can feel alittle less mass weight on the Narra bow I am sure it's the all wood wedges I like the way it feels. Looks like I am setup for turkey season now can't wait for opening day!

Nice looking bows.  I can't believe how light that Curly Narra is compared to the one I shot in Kzoo.  I would have guessed tulipwood or something from first glance.

The Narra wood has a true red tint to it I really like the color. The bow is a backup bow so I went with the same spec's I shoot year around almost everyday so I like having a extra just incase.

You did good,I like your twins. You are saying that they shoot almost the same but is there one more quiet than the other?I have a theory! Limbs without the phenolic are more quiet.

I have very, very, very good hearing and to be honest the phenolic model seemed maybe a touch quieter when shooting today but it's real close to the same so I wouldn't bet any money one way or the other.I really like the all wood wedges if I order another Black Widow I am going no phenolic again. I have new SBD 8 strand D-10 strings with recurve wraps and rubber cat wiskers on both bows and the setups are very quiet. I also had a new set of Morrison "A" carbon/foam core cotton mouth skinned Cheyenne limbs come in this week attached them up to my "B" Kindwood riser and that setup is crazy quiet.

Very nice - now if i could get just one...yes one..the one I ordered I would be happy too.

Too deadly! I've been waiting to see pictures of the Narra bow. Good on you! I hope you have lots of fun and games with them. For me, one-and-a-half weeks down, who knows how many to go.

Beautiful Bows.. Love your wood choices.  I had never seen either wood before your post.  Thank you.

When your Morrison limbs get there, how about your thought's as to a comparison of the Widow's to your Morisson. Speed, loudness, feel at the shot and preferance ... in no particular order.

All are very high quality bows and I'm sure you are a happy man.   :wavey:

Cody,

Ya done good, stunning twins.  I pity the beast that steps in your way!!!!

Hey, I'm at Mark Hornes bow building school building me a little sweetie 3-piece longbow, will try to put up a post.  I shot 4 arrows with it from about 15 yards, all in the 10 ring.  Wish you could have come, this is something that you would really enjoy!

Later,
