help find Haas Bows

Does anyone have info on Haas or Hass bows?  I think he is from the Ohio area.

I had a Fred Hass recurve many years ago,great shooting bow I wish I still had it. If it`s the same Hass you are refering to he was a Montana bowyer.I dont think he is making bows anymore,not when I was trying to get a replacement bow. He made great one piece recurves.

Yes Fred Hass of Plainsmen Bows made some great bows, I think he still makes a few every now and then. fhhass@3rivers.net  I have 2 of them and talk to fred on occation. good friend

If you can't find one of Freds bows, try a Bruin. Both Fred and Mike Steliga were tutored by Bill Pyle, who used to make the Staghorn recurves years ago. Mike has tweeked his styling a little from the Staghorn look, but Freds were very similar. Or you can try to find an old Staghorn XP 60 or XP 64. That's the bow the other two were shaped like. All of them are good bows.
