Thanks for sharing them Andy. Lots of "classics" in the bunch.

I can remember watching some of Fred's adventures on TV as a young kid. That was back in the old days with only 3 channels too! It was absolutely captivating.

Fred the personification of a "bowhunter" in every meaning of the word. A true trail blazer in so many ways. Fought for bowhunting when there were next to nothing in the ways of seasons and recognition of the bow and arrow as a means to kill a big game animal. An inventor and business man who's bows and broadheads are still being used today to take game all over the world.

I too have a number of pics of Fred up in my workshop and watch some of his adventures on DVD when I am in my shop.

did he hunt with his takedown bow? they all look like one piece bows to me.

Andy- That is a compass in his glove. Arrow30- His takedown design wasn't marketable until the late sixties. Hre's the copy of that glove that I make Andy.

Thanks Andy for posting those pics. Although I've seen them many times I never get tired of seeing them again. My favorites have always those taken on the Little Delta.
