Here are some photos of one a bow I have that Howard made himself.. Ted Fry had one just like it sometime ago signed by Howard himself the old guy I got the bow from his granddad got this bow from Howard back in the 1930s or 1940s and it past down and I found it with some other bows for sale.. I have a letter that goes with this bow telling the history of it.. The bow was painted by someone and the grandson used paint thinner and took all the names off it.. But this is going into my Howard Hill display case  an can be seen in person at Compton 2010..with the letter and the Howard Hill arrow I have..

here are pics of my bow

Hey Joshua,
Your pictures are really cool.
Whenever I see pictures like this of Howard or Fred, I think just how it would have been to be able to walk in to the scence and be there with thesee guys.
That first picture of yours - those guys look like some pretty rough and tumble dudes ....... nobody is smiling .......

I have always wondered if I could that to Chinook.  Thanks for the kind words.

Wanted to bring this back up. The picture of the "boys" bowfishing!

It's that time of year, carp and suckers will, are moving into the shallows. I've been shootin my old osage glass bow, and 'em thinking of putting a simple reel like Howard has on his bow!

I remember reading an old article, where they used a piece of radiator hose, taped to the bow. I'm going to try this in the next week or so, and hope to have some pics.

Look at Howard in the pic. Dress slacks, V-neck sweater, and check those boots out! The soles are thick! Quality made!

Look at the pile of fish in the side, background! He looks to be going to play a round of golf, not bowfishing! Classy Archer, for sure!

Does anyone know who the other 2 fellows are? I love these pics!

Cool Pics!
My Grandpa said he got to hunt with him once.
Ha, he said that Howard forgot his bow and they had to drive back and get it. Howard was getting up in age at the time, but my grandpa said he was still amazing to watch.
