Hello Guys, Look what was waitin for me when I got home from work... Well first I'll tell you about the bowyer and ect.. John Lee is the bowyer who made me this bow.. John does not sell his bows and only a hand full of people have one of Johns longbows I'm one of the lucky ones.. John and Howard Hill where great friends back in the late 1960s and early 1970s.. A few years before Howard passed away.. Howard took John under his wing to show him how he made his bows.. John got to the point where up to the last few years of Howard's life he was shooting some of the bows that John made for him.. Well Anyways every year John sets up his big Howard Hill display at Kzoo.. And over just a few years John and I have became great friends.. Well after I found out John made bows a few years ago I got to shoot one and John asked how does it shoot I'm like it shoots greats better then any other Hill bow I have ever shot.. Well this year when I seen John he was like I'm going to be sending you something in a few weeks that was in Jan with John I didnt have clue to what it was going to be... Well to make a long story short this bow showed up... Man I love the norrow limbs and the riser is to die for... This bow was made just like one of Howards own bows he shoot back in the 1950s that John had on display.. So John if your reading this I wanted to say Thanks for the bow and to you and Jack for all the help..

Now I'll shut up and post some pics  :) )

The bow is 45@28 Yew Riser & Bamboo core    :archer:

Well a good bow also needs some good arrows and back quiver the arrows and back quiver where made by Johns good friend Jack ( who is also a great friend of mine) The arrows where made like some of Howards from the 1950s.. Big feathers and mid-nocks.. I'm a lucky to have all three.. This is a great bow and arrow combo...

Hey Cody, Congratulations on your new bow. As you know Johns bows are made just like Howards and John chooses people like you that he knows are great Hill fans to build these bows for.

You and "The Champ" are probably off at the Big Rabbit Hunt this morning. I hope you have good luck, I know you're going to enjoy this bow for years to come.

I'm expecting you to win the Howard Hill event at the GLLI this year with your Lee/Hill bow...   ...   :archer:
