i have a case from rondo music for guitar pedals and it just occured to me that it would make an excellent takedown case just add some custom foam and it would be bullet proof... prices are very affordable.....just an fyi

Downright CHEAP .... oh, I mean inexpensive.

I've used a takedown shotgun case from GM.

Only thing that bothers me about it....is it not having (as far as I know) TSA locks.

It's a great looking case, though!  Congrats!

I have also found some fairly inexpensive hard cases designed for paint ball guns to be very good take-down recurve cases.

Often these cases are 1/2-2/3 the price of "bow" cases of the same dimensions.

Your mileage may vary.

Are these Rondo cases tough, or are they the "looks like a strong aluminum travel case" lightweight crap sold by Academy Sports, etc.? Price is right but if it can be crushed in shipping or by airline travel, no gracias amigo......
