I like the Saunders plastic tabs the best. I don't use any other layers or the cant-pinch.They last till you lose them.(my dog ate one recently!)They pivot out of the way when not in use and are easy to trim and give a nice release in all types of weather.

Bateman for me.They will build as thick or thin as you like and they keep a record for when yopu reorder.

If you shoot 3 under I can mail you a couple to try. I bought 2 Black Widows and a Bateman to try. Still prefer my glove. Randy

I have both, Bateman, and Black Widow.
Prefer the BW, use the Bateman when I forget the BW.
I know, you're not suppose to forget.

When I retire a pair of LL Bean or similar hunting boots I can cut at least 8 tabs out of each one of them.  I keep one in my wallet, a few in my truck, my buddy's truck, and several in my bowcase.  Works great for me and I never find myselfe without one.

Bateman Cordovan with finger separator is my first choice. Three Rivers sells them without using the Bateman name in their catalog or on line. Go figure. A great product that I have used for quite some time.

After a lot of looking around for ideas and experimenting with various ideas, we have come up with a couple of winners at EFA. A source of the best information was Lenny Rock who we talked with at length at Denton Hill, Pa. Although we changed some things, it's primarily his advice that we counted on. For this we named the tab series "Rock Tabs". Although a number of the guys around here (and myself)have been using them for the last year, we haven't put them on the website yet or promoted them very much.

We use only cordovan or calf hair along with a palm plate and O-ring. They are easy to wear, give a good release, and rotate out of the way for arrow pulling. They will sell for $12.00 each.

I like the build your own kind...just get some leather and cut you one out.

They take some getting used to but if you shoot split finger a SOMA tab WILL make you a better shooter.

I'm going with the saunders fab tabs, they are waterproof, need no break in an last forever an have many combo pcs for thicker or thinner feel. I shot the same one for probably 15 years before it got so thin I could see thru it. My second choice would be the Bateman cordura tab. Later Bob

I like the Black Widow cordovan tabs the best.

Bateman cordovan, with a black widow cordovan as a back up for when your callus needs a break.

I'll have to give those new ones a look see the next time i see you at a shoot, Don (Eagle Flight). They look great! (Hey, how come I didn't get one of those - oh I know, the others were only $10.00 - LOL) Maybe by the time I next see you I will have decided if I'll stay with 3 Under or go back to Split Finger    :knothead:

Thank's fella's, I can alway's count on you for good advice. I shoot split finger. I'll check out the tab's you mentioned! who sale's the bateman? Thank's again, Jason

2fletch

Hi Bernie, we added a palm plate since you got your tab. I like the tabs now. We probably won't change them again. I personally like the calf hair better than the cordovan, but the cordovan will outlast the calf hair.

lucky strike

3 Rivers sells a tab for 6 bucks-It's not cordovan but is slick enough-looks like a NAM tab.wears good and snaps hold strong.Fits good right out of the package.Black leather.
