Where do you guys get your feathers?  I dont care what brand. I will use AMG, Gateway, Truflight, Whatever.  I can get 100 packs of solid colors for $19 dollars but barred is over $40 for a pack of 100.  Anybody beating these prices?  What about a feather burner? How many 4" feathers can you get out of a normal full length feather? Is it worth the time and effort for the savings?

I think you will find that you can get full length feathers as cheap if not cheaper than cut feathers. You can get two 4" out of a full lenghth if you don't mind some spare time cutting. As far as the make, if you are just starting to make your own arrows I would go with the Trueflight first they have the most even grind and flexabilaty .

I've found that the feathers pretty much cost around the same, where your going to save the money is on shipping!

Anyone know where to find 4'' barred banana cut trueflights? Almost forgot I need left wing.  Thanks

I can't remember the last time I bought die cut feathers. With rare exceptions, I fletch my arrows with 4" parabolics; so I buy full length feathers (which cost as much as die cuts) and punch them out with a feather chopper. For me, my feather chopper paid for itself after about two dozen arrows.

If those are TF feathers they are good prices.  What do they charge for shipping?  To bad they don't have 4".

Buy full lengths and get a chopper. Most places have similar prices.
