Come on now at least give it a shot before jumping the gun an getting wheels. Right? Idk maybe o should posted this in the prayers section so maybe  someone can light a candle for this poor soul. Hate to throw ya under the bus there mike (jerseyboy) but someone had to do it.

It's all about making a haha. Yes I know all archers gotta stick together

One of the best times I've ever had shooting my longbow was on a field course last summer. What a blast!!

I have nothing against guys who shoot compounds, but you CAN shoot field with trad gear...and have a blast doing it!!

I thought the traditional side was the dark side or have I seen the light???

Wolfie2nd

Guess you saw the light! Lol.

Let him go! The sport is very circular.....he'll come around. Some guys makes many rotations of the "circle" in their archery career. For me...I love recurves and longbows but did most of my killing with wheels. I'd like to think that you give me ANY bow, and in 10 minutes I could go hunting with it. That's the bowhunter I want to be. That said....can't see myself going back to the wheels.

lpcjon2

Dude what was he thinking,he could have had mine! The problem I had was the wheels people keep cumin up with more crap you add to it to make it do the same thing it did before you bought the new crap.   :archer:

Ok wolfie you had your fun maybe its time for a little revenge hey buddy.Fellas i to love the trad gear and im on a quest to harvest my first whitetail with it but i know about the frustrations of competitive archery something my backwoods buddy wolfie does not. I have been to buckmasters and fita shoots as well as a few trips to the states here in jersey. You see other than the fun of throwing his buddy under the bus my poor inexperienced soul of a friend wolfe who will now be banned from borrowing from my many bows he just doest know the frustration of trying to compete other than of corse for the last donut!!HAHA have fun hunting tomorrow i promise that i wont tell the boss where you REALLY are buddy!! Its all fun and games till someone pokes an eye out then its all fun and games that they cant see!
And in the end when i can no longer draw the bow or watch the arrow embark on its flight;when i posses only the spirit of the hunter, i will hunt.... if only in my dreams... because the hunt is born amidst my soul, and i... i am the hunter

I have nothing against wheels its still a bow and I like to pick on my friends that shoot them myself. But lets call a spade a spade when it comes to crossbows I dont care if a guy uses a crossbow but don't call it bow hunting if you don't drawl it and hold it under your own power its not a bow and its not bowhunting handicap excluded ofcourse. Wolfie2nd

Ok mikey when I get outta the woods I guess ill light a candle for ya. Have fun working! Hahahaha! Off the the woods buddy ill send ya pics.

Nothing against the wheels I started that way.To be a instinctive shooter require dedication,a strong willing and some b..ls,not everyone has them,it is easyer to become a instant bowman.

Guys all in the name of fun i challenge wolfie2nd to a duel! Any bow any range that he wants i want to see him squirm. Just FYI we are buds and work together and really enjoy bustin em on each other, we are becoming quite professional at it.

Nothing wrong with having more than one arrow in your quiver.
Heck the more variety you have, the more you know, the you know the more you have, the more you have the richer your life.
The only thing that keeps me from shooting compound today is my competitive nature,,,I would have to have the latest most up to date gear, an that's a very expensive path to tread when you need to trade up every year to stay in touch.
To many bows, not enough time or money.
Winning or losing is not the important thing,,the important thing is how well you played the game.
