Just looking for info on who is shooting 600 spine arrows.  What is your set up; type of bow, bow #'s at your draw length, arrow length and weight up front?

I shoot them..  They fly great full lengthe with 75 or 100 grain tips out of my 42# predator recurve. Its 60" 42@28 and I draw 28 or 28.5

I gave that bow to my dad and got a 45 pound predator. I cant use the 600's any more. I had to order some 500's which are the same as 3555's if you were wondering.  

So basically shoot them with 43 or 44 pounds or less.

all i shoot is 600 spine arrows out of my 45# longbows.... i have a 27.5 draw ..... cut my arrows to 28 1/4" and have 185 up front....Ive shot the goldtip 1535, the ce predator 20/40, and the easton epic 600.... arrow weight is 425-450 grains.

Out of my Red Wing Hunter (48#) but only shooting 45# at my 27" draw. I use a 200 gr. point and they fly like darts. The nice thing about the heavy point is that they are heavy enough to hunt with..

I shoot GT Entrada Ultralight 600 out of a R/D longbow 45#@28(42#@27 my draw) at full length with 145 gr. point.They bareshafted and fly just great for me.

My son shoots the Predator II .600's in his 44# recurve.  The .600's seem to work real well for bows in the low 40's, or bows in the mid to high 40's if they are shy of center, or used at the shorter draw lengths.

I shoot a super shrew that is 43# at 25" which is my draw length.  The Shrew is 1/8" shy of center.  Could I make these work?

I would think a long 600 spine with a fair amount of weight up front is what you would need.

Clay Hills, I'm afraid you'd struggle with them being on the stiff side between the 1/8" shy of center cut and the 25" draw.  At best you'd likely need to leave them long and pack some real weight on the point end to make them spine properly.

Don't despair there are some new, even lower spined carbons coming down the pike very soon!  

Thanks Guys!  I like carbon on my heavier recurve. I shoot POC on the shrew and look forward to those low spined carbons coming.

The new Easton Carbon-one,might be just the ticket for you Clay hills bill. They will be offered in spines ranging from 600. to 1150. spine.

I shoot Easton Redline 600's and Gold Tip Ultralight 600's from all my bow's with good bare shafting results with some slight tweaks in shaft length and point weight from one bow to the next. But I draw 29" not your 25" draw I missed that part of the question.

Its my understanding the Easton CarbonOne shafts are not available with inserts...only glue in target points??

Clay Hills, If you shot the Gold Tip 1535 arrows you would need to leave them 28" long and shoot them with 100 grain inserts and 125 grain points.  I would bet they would fly great for you out of your Shrew.

That will rule out the CarbonOne's for me then. Thanks for the info Mr.Jenkins. I herd from a sales person at Lancaster archery that Easton has discontinued the Redline shaft. Does anyone no if this is the case? The Redline is still listed on the Easton web site.

I shoot Gold Tip Entrade 600s and the Gold Tip 1535s (also .600 spine) out of my 40# A & H.

I use .600's with my 54 lb Thunderstick Mag with perfect results. 29" & 145 tips work great.

I have ordered somee 600 spines for my 55lb longbow. It is not center shot and I am finding that 500's are too stiff even with a lot of weight up front.  I will let you guys know how they work out.
