I can't get Excel to work. Probably my fault...not that great with PC's.

Any way, was wondering if someone would mind running the numbers for me?

Bow info: 54@29 Wapiti recurve, Dacron, Cut to center with calfhair sideplate 1/16 in thick. I draw 29in. This is a really fast dacron bow with static limbs so not sure which recurve category to enter it under.

Arrow: 30in 2117 with 3-5in sheild feathers.
insert=24gr  nock=15gr  pt weight=150gr

It's very frustrating to have this right in front of me and can't get it to work.

Any help is much appreciated. Thank you.  :pray:

Bow = 59.8 (51#@28" so at your draw 54#@29")
arrow = 65.3

screamin

For the bow it comes out at 58.2 under regular recurve. For performance recurve it comes to 59.8.

The arrows with 5" feathers come to 69.7. 3" feathers 68.6.

if you use the arrows at 31" with 3" feathers its 61.6. 5" 62.6

31.5" arrow with 5" is 59.4. 3" 58.4.

Thanks guys! Much appreciated.

Anyway one of ya could run it with a 2020 and a 125 or 150gr head?

This the last time I promise.

Man, you guys are good!  Beat me to this one.

BTW, I love to see the DSC tool being used quickly and efficiently to have fellow trad archers help each other.

I hope you would agree that this better than the old days where varied personal opinions/experiences were the answers!

Avid Archer...did you happen to notice what the arrow speeds were?

The 2020 with 150gr and the 2117 with 175gr should be pretty close.
