Looking to buy a Stormy Kromer. It would be for the Fall cool hunts and occasional around town wear. Any suggestions from those who own them ?? Thanks in advance.

I have 2 of them and i wear them all the time

San Juan Slim

I have three:  a blaze orange, a camo, and a black.  Next I want an olive green.  I wear them for bow season, quail and pheasant hunting, and all winter long.

Got a camo in oil cloth this year.  Great hat, still just a hair long to shoot with, gotta turn it around.  Liked it so much I got one for my two year old and one for my 6 month old.  CUTE!!!!

I have several, my black one is an original Kromer.  Which is Stormy Kromer's father.

they make one now with no brim

I have three of them - usually wear one all the time during fall/winter/spring.  They are great - warm and well made.  Hit 'em with a lint roller occasionally and wash them every once in a while to keep them looking good.

Mine are the original wool Stormy's with original length bill.  The original length bill is still shorter than a regular baseball style cap - I've never had any string contact problems with them.

I wear mine everywhere... not sure I'd do that with one of the SK brimless "beanies" though.

I have several as well; black, red, red & black plaid, oil cloth tan, camo.  I guess for hunting, I'd run with the camo, olive or any of the plaids like Berry Wensel wears.  A hat steeped in tradition.  Gotta own a least one!

I have a couple, but just got a Filson lookalike from a fellow tradganger. Shot with it on this morning, and it did not interfere with the string at all while at full draw. It's in camo, and it looks like it may be my new 'go to' hunting hat.

I have an original kromer in camo for hunting, and I also have a mackinaw kromer in the red and black plaid for icefishing and around outside. I tried on an olive colored rancher this weekend, and let me tell ya it fealt good and warm.  Pretty sure I'll be getting one next.

I have two of them, both the original kromers and have never had a problem shooting my longbow with them on.  Dark grey for around town and I were the olive one while hunting.  Great hats!

Here's a link to a wool cap I found at Sierra Trading post. It's wool and has a nice lining. I got one for myself and my wife. Love them.
