Ok I finally ordered my first custom directly from the bowyer. Most of my arsenal has come through the classified ads. No complaints because I love each and every one, till I trade it    :knothead:   .

But I've always craved that simple sexy lines of a Hill. So I gave a ring out to Craig to see what he has lying around. Well he just happened to have a bow built for a 5 foot 5 dwarf like me. A 60" 45@25 Big Five, Osage riser and clear glass over the Boo, Elk overlays. Talk about a stunning Blonde. Anyway money is on the way, so now I wait a few days.
It just sounded like the perfect Turkey killer.

Congratualtions! I love my hill-style bows, and that one sounds like a looker. Be sure to post pics when you get it.

Well that was quick, sent the money out on Monday (Express Mail) and got the Hill today.

Boy am I in love. This has to be the sweetest Hill I have shot. For a stock bow, she was made for me. The Grip is a very slim grip on a Hill I've had the pleasure to shoot. Handshock......What Handshock. I feel about as much handshock as my Morrison Cheyenne's...zippo. Has to be the slim grip.

As far as the length 60", yeah it's short for a Hill but the way she delivers the arrows, you wouldn't know it.
Boy's the Bow is a winner, this is what every Big Five should be......turkey's going be in trouble.

Osage has gotta be the finest looking wood ever. Just wait a little while and she'll be even prettier.

It's a beautiful bow for sure. Congrats! I would never have guessed that the riser is Osage. Looks kinda like Shedua. Enjoy.
