I can't believe we are talking about this.

Smack them on your boot sole and move on. If I get dirt in my quiver I dump it out.

Zbearclaw

I hated how flimsy kudos were on "stumps" that become rocks when I shoot them.

Have been shooting the "hammers" that VPA makes for 3Rivers for a few months now and there is no more mud, or busted kudos.

I am pretty sure I have shot my last judo.

But I doubt the mud affects more than your mind, which is the most important part.
Give me a bow a topo and two weeks, and I guarantee I kill two weeks!

Personally, I bring along a cordless gas weed eater. Great for getting in the spring coils to clean out the dirt/grass.       :smileystooges:

Zbearclaw, you can send me all those judos (kudos??) when you're ready to get rid of them. I'll take 'em over anything for roving.

A.S. has the right approach, quick and easy.  ;)

the longbowkid

swish it around in the grass, but be careful, I had one unscreq itself doing that, never found it!
I prefer to stump with the G5 SGH head, I stops a lot better and does a lot more damage to small game. they also don't get dirty like the judo.

Wack it on my boots and im ready to go.

Just wack it on something or take a small stick and clean it out OR hunt by a creek with water in it.

If it bothers you too much shoot an RFA Talon or something similar.

Dunno but if anyone ever decides to open a TradGang bar or restaurant or whatever, 'Dirty Judos' would make an outstanding name.

I have a 7 HP Honda power washer that I pull along when I'm stump shooting, No problems here!!     :p

If it's a problem, carry a small, stiff hair brush. I never had a problem with just beating them on my pants leg or boot. Like Pepper said shoot something. A rabbit will take that mud right off.
Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly.

Pointer

Ditto what A.S. does.....just bang them on my boot or the nearest tree to clean them off.

VTer

Ohh..........you can shoot them more than once!

you could make one of these and not worry about dirt at all! OK, so they are a little muddy.    :)
