DEAN

What would you start the brace height on a 60 inch LOST CREEK bow?

He recommends on his website 7"-8" brace height for his bows.

azhunter

My 58 inch shoots best at 7 5/8. This has become my favorite one piece longbow. Man is this bow a shooter.

Focusource

I think maybe you should start at 7 1/2".  Somewhere between there and 8" will probably be right.  My setup is the same as azhunter's above.

They are a perfect little hunting bow, fast, quiet, No hand shock at all, none, zero!!  Mine is set @71/4"'.
It's a 60"

xtrema312

I was at 7 1/4, but with a new SBD string 7 1/2" is nice also.  I have it a little higher to allow stretch and it shoots great there also.  I am going to run it up and down some to see if the new string makes for a different sweet spot.  Really with the Lost Creek it is all sweet spot.

Dean, I like 8" on the 60"bow it keeps the string from coming in contact with the belly of the limb. Chad

Chad, I'll give it try @8". Probably never would have put it that high.   THANKS, Dana

billy shipp

I've had mine braced anywhere from 7" up to 8", and it shoots good just about any place you like it.....not much difference at all.

Lost Creek bows are shooters, and they aren't picky about brace heighth, or arrow spine....just play with it and see what works best for you, your arrows, and your shooting style....the bows themselves are purdy darned easy to get along with.

Brother DEAN not again!!??   "[dntthnk]"          Funny on your interest. BUCKY is getting ready to order one soon.

After moving the B/H 7" to 8", I have to agree with Billy Shipp.

8Charles

My 58" Lost Creek (47# all Bamboo limbs) seemed to get quiet at 7 1/2"  I went to 7 3/4 and it got even quieter!!!  Haven't braced it to 8".

azhunter

I bought my friend one just like mine and was helping him tune it. Moved the brace in very small increments and he kept saying it feels the same. You know when you find the sweet spot, but it is very forgiving in brace height. Isn't it nice to have a bow that isn't finicky.   :clapper:

Chad is a great guy! and these bows are flat out SHOOTERS!!!!!!!!! they point so easy and are very easy to tune just a perfect bow for everything!

Chas, I think DEAN is gettin' his workin' good now.
The are great shooters for sure!!!

buckster

Is Chad going to be offering a take-down version of his bow????

I hope he isn't, cause I defenitely don't need another 3-piece long-bow, but I may have to take the LOST CREEK PLUNGE!
