Thanks for the warm replies! If my "thinker" got itself wrapped around all the details then early to mid July is the due date.

I am trying to figure out if its reasonable to try and put together a father/daughter hunt like.... soon and very soon for hogs. I know she wants to hunt them, she's only been telling me for years and I was trying to put something together for next year when this "happened".

Does anyone besides me see the "why" of I'd better git-r-done like yesterday...lol I'm gonna try to be smart about it and keep it on the "down-low" until I can tell if if I can really pull it off.

She turns 21 in a couple of weeks, that complicates things...lol

Thanks again and any helpful suggestions or advice about the father/daughter idea would be appreciated.

God bless,Mudd

PS: Wingnut-congratulations to you and Connie!! I am assuming that your gift will be coming from Jason?
If that be the case we can compare and contrast since we will be experiencing the same blessed event but from different gender perspectives.
Hahaha I know what I mean, I just hope you do too!

Speaking from "experience".......there ain't nothing like being a "PaPaw". I've got three grandsons and one grandaughter....she is the "princess".......and in case you don't know that, SHE will fill you in.....very quickly.

Congrats.......PaPaw   :bigsmyl:

Mudd, Congrats on a life changing event. It almost sounds like you told my story. Circumstances questionable but my family is what counts. About a month after my daughter told me she said I bet you will get her a bow when she is still young. I told her I don't have to, I already have one. Also have the glove, bracer and arrows set up and ready. All the granddaughter has to do is arrive and grow. I am stoked.

Congratulations Mudd!  When my first grandson was born, it was not the right time either.  He and his mom lived with us for his first 7 years.  She found herself a good man, and they married 6 years ago, and now have blessed me with two more grandsons.  My 13 year old grandson is my huntin', ball playin', bow shootin', and shop workin' buddy.  He's more like a son to me than a grandson.  You're in for a treat, my friend, when he gets older.

Mudd, my friend, there ain't nuthin like Grandkids. It's God's way of paying you for raisin your own kids.  My Grandson, Griffin, and Granddaughter, Isabel, came to MoJam with Dianne and me last summer. It was my favorite one, even without the cool weather.  They had a ball and can't wait for OJam in March.  Since MoJam, a third, Greyden, was born. He already has an Osage bow.  Congratulations my Friend and You're gonna make a great GrandPa.  Ralph
