Hey Guys!  I'm taking one of my old youth group kids hog hunting for his engagement present.  I'm paying our way but need one more to pay $450 for a three day trip Feb.4-7th.  We'll start hunting at noon on Thursday and be finished at noon on Sunday the 7th.  This is with Curtis at 7th age and should be a great hunt.  We'll be in Schroeder, TX.  Give me a call with any questions at 214-729-0326.  Thanks and let's go hunting!

Wow! Great deal and sounds like it'd be a fun time with all the young folks too. I know I had fun with a group of young adults(HS) this past summer at NYR in Colorado.
If I had the extra cash I'd go and get forgiveness from momma later...lol
I think it'd be a good way for the OF's to kinda roll back the clock and maybe share some of their experiences(hard knocks) with this newer generation.

Reminds me of the day I was talking to my Doctor about some issues I was having. He simply said that "we middle aged guys have some problems". I looked at the grey in his hair and said "you might be middle aged but I'm just 42"........Then I thought about it awhile. I've been thinking about it every since.   :confused:

Right now I'm doing really well and the Rancher and his son have been a huge help.


Guys, this hunt with Justin will be held on a smaller private ranch with a nice but rustic cabin south of San Antonio. There are numerous ponds, a creek, and lots and lots of hogs. They literally come around the cabin at night. There will be a grand total of no more than 4 hunters allowed on this hunt. I;ll be around camp daily to help with any special needs. This is a great opportunity for a newby or skilled hunter alike. Hope to see you there! CK

I wish I had the time to go.  It would be great to share a hunt like this but February is going to be a busy month for me and I already had to turn down another hog hunt offer.

I guess if we can't get one more.  We'll just get something cooked up at a later date as that's really the only weekend that works with our schedules for awhile.  He just started a new job.  Maybe we'll just end up on one of your bigger hunts next year.  We would both love to learn from some of the more seasoned hunters and traditionalists out there.  Oh well, we'll see.

It'd be pushing me to make it that soon, but I do want to do a hunt with Curtis this year.  Is this one of Curtis' ranches with a good javie population, or just hogs?   I've been to the one at Crane.   The hogs don't appeal that much but sure love the javies...
