I'm only 10# away from being too fat to hunt anymore. It finally hit me Sunday perched in my tree in 16 degree weather.Everything i got is tight. Had to hook my safety harness buckles up in Braille cus i ain't seen em!. By the time i got all my King of the Overprice on ,it shrunk my draw lenght 6 inches. How in the world have Biggie , Gene and Marty hunted all these years like this? I have got to lose some weight...anyone else?
Aim down your arrow because thats where it's going.

Biggie? Surley you jest! He's just a little guy, just look at his avatar.
I would've taken better care of myself,if I'd known I was gonna live this long!

You have to adjust son...buy the 4xl and 5xl instead of trying to pour yourself into a 2xl.
Get buddystands that are made for two hunters.
Get two belts, hook one into the other and you'll have plenty of extra holes.
You can go to an upolstery shop and have webbing added to your safety harness.
And finally, go to a 3/4 ton pick up.

Biggie, why not just go for a 1 ton truck.

I got nothing for that,But I can picture it you in a tree looking like a condominium size squirrel's nest...LOL No hard feelings if you want some exercise tips I can help.

Hang your stand further out in the woods and the walk in might help out some. Or do as Biggie says.
Keep the wind in your face and the sun at your back.

Committed to a Colorado Elk trip last year, which motivated me to lose the weight. Glad I did, covered alot of country and saw alot of animals.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways-BOW in one hand-ARROWS in the other-Body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming-WOO HOO! WHAT A RIDE!

i was so fat last year that when my old lady told me to haul ass i had to make two trips.      "[dntthnk]"

Joebuck, do yourself a favor and try to loose the weight.  You will be a better hunter and maybe stick around to hunt longer.  I understand, I lost 40 lbs in 2009.  Felt alot better hanging stands, climbing up in stands, and had a good year.  I know it's hard but just give it a try.

Marty

I figure you are just evening out the score, as good a hunter as you are- you are giving the deer a chance.

OOh Boy, here we go!!  This one ought to get real good once the "rest of the boys" get wind of it    :clapper:

A buddy, if I can call him that told me once he figured out my secret fer killin so many critters. What's that, I asked. He said when you get camoed up,  and start throught the woods,it looks like the whole woods movin and confuses them long enough fer you to shoot them. I am there with you fellers, got to get a few pounds off this winter and spring!

Yes I come from a family that considers gravy a beverage and I used to try to go back for seconds at communion. But over the last two years I started walking and cutting back. I've lost 66 pounds and feel great.

joebuck

I even eat three fingers under now..it's quicker than split....my wool is soo tight..i'm a fire hazard walking down the trail.........Marty told me Gene has to use individual lock on stands now as tree steps..i'm finally now contemplating it..thank goodness barry has kept his girlish figure
Aim down your arrow because thats where it's going.

Al Dean

Maybe we need a little competition.  Goodness knows I need to loose 40+.  Although if I read much more of this post I may not make it.
