RRock

Hunt with my recurve (RER) but love shooting my HH Big 5.

Quinn

Seen some real pretty longbows, love the simplicity of their lines.
It comes down to the feel of the draw for me, I just prefer the way a recurve feels when you draw it.

Some people live an entire lifetime and wonder if they have ever made a
difference in the world, but the Marines don't have that problem.

StickBowManMI

Griffin Longbows and an older shrew Longbow that John made for Ron.

Recurves for me. They just feel better and shoot better, for me. Plus the look of a sculpted Howatt Hunter riser and the recurved limbs is very pleasing to my eye.

Encino Man

I like both for different reasons, but since all I own is a longbow, I went with that.
Fox Archery "Red Fox"
53# @ 28" 64" longbow
Browning "Safari II"
44# @ 28" 60" Recurve

antler chaser

longbow 90% of the time, they seem to be a little quieter to me.

Trad Whitetail

I have both and I shoot both well.  That being said I can hit easier (less concentration) with my Howatt Hunter recurve and have shot a number of animals with it.  I think it is mainly the grip.  I REALLY want to try a hybrid with a grip more like my Hunter.
