Yep: It's the one that broke my jinx. I left the blind up at Laura's request and she missed two very big tom's out of it a week or two later,

Dave: I did do a write up..can't remember the title. In a nutshell, we had a flock of at least a doz. or so hens and jakes coming to our feeder across the pond. You can't hunt turkeys over bait in NH, as you know, so I set the blind against one of our stone wall propery lines in a area they came thru. They actually had three places they would pass thru but this seemed to be their favorite. The morning before I got up to get in the blind and they were already across the pond so I snuck in the blind the next morning around 9 AM...we had them patterened. At 9:30 they sowed up. I let a few go by to be sure I shot at one of the bigger ones and the biggest hen just stopped about 8 yards away and I put a Phantom right at the base of her neck. She dropped like a rock.

I just loved hunting from the "blond" so much that I just traded one of my Groves bows for another. Now Laura has a "blond", too. We have a very interesting life.

Jamie: "Blond" is fine with me...not so sure about Laura. However, she liked the blind so much I had to get another....and it cost me a Groves, as I indicated. We decided that we need to take Spring gobblers a little more seriously next Spring and want to try deer hunting on our own property with them. She couldn't believe how easy it was to stay undetected in one. Now that I'm putting on (and showing/feeling) some years the blinds have a certain appeal. That's especially true when the weather is cooler or wet. Now if I can get a coyote I'll have killed every game critter on the east coast except for a pig. Gotta go south for that, I guess.

Great Pic of ya Bill!  Turkeys can be a tough critter with a bow.  Good for you!!

Bill, the "eld" hunting has been sporadic, because of "thesaurus predation" I suspect.

However, the elk hunting has been good.

You traded a Groves for a blond?  Hope she can cook.
