I took these pictures while on a bivouac hunt for muledeer. I am stuck in my office today thinking of the high country in late August. I know it's only January but, who else has cabin fever?

I hunted in Utah last August around the La Sal area.  I am thinking about the experience and really want to do a backpack bowhunt to Utah.  Can I PM you about some different areas to hunt.

Beautiful country. Are tags available over the counter or are they draw for out of state hunters?

Depends on Species, Elk tags are available over the counter for specific areas Mule Deer are draw state wide. Moose you got a better chance of winnin' the power ball lottery.
Sheep, Goat, take a few years to draw (10)maybe, some get lucky and draw with less.

I thought my pictures were cool until the Colorado ones came up. My dad hunts it quite a bit with his mules in the back country but I haven't had the chance. Spring can't come soon enough, I am sick of being snowed in.

I thought this thread would help me but... It's making it worse. Great pictures though.

Cabin Fever?  Is that what it's called when you spend the entire morning searching all the draw odds, harvest reports, looking at Google Earth, downloading maps, etc, etc?  I thought I was the only one....
