So, its a new year.

Does anyone have something they want to learn to do this year ?  At first I kinda meant this to be "hunting method" related.  I want to continue to get better at hunting from the ground.  But hey,  I also want to learn to knap flint.  Anybody else want to expand their knowledge this year ?  Maybe this will generate some "how to"s from those that already do that.

I want to build my own bow and learn how to walk on dried fallen leaves with 15 1/2 inch feet and not make a sound.      :coffee:

Building your bow we can help with.  The other. . . well . . good luck.  Of course, you can go out and rake a path one day and hunt it the next.  That has been done plenty of times.

I learned not to do that the hard way hunting grounds are hard to come by and if they see a clean path it's like Mcdonalds at noon they will all be there.

My main things I want to learn this year are to shoot left-handed and make a bow, probably from a board.

On public  yeah you are probably right on.

Course, if you rake a trail off to the right,  then actually hunt to the left, it might work out/

I would like to extend myself to any and all I come in contact to share my love of God and archery.
I'd like to improve my stalking skills, improve my shooting skills and learn when to keep my mouth shut.

Have a happy, healthy, safe 2010!
God bless,Mudd

Archery isn't something I do, it's who I am!
The road to "Sherwood" makes for an awesome journey.

I want to start making some wood and cane (plenty of it behind my house) arrows. I would also like to learn how to make a self bow. Got plenty of hickory on my land too. Im amazed at the craftsmanship I see here on TradGang.

I would also like to build a self-bow. Maybe I should finish up some arrows I started and got half done this year also!

Want to shoot a big game animal, preferably by still hunting. Would settle for a Grouse though.

This year it I would like to make a bow. Then spend more time on my "set ups" for quality shoots. That is ground blinds tree stands ect... I always get impatient and end up still hunting. Don't get me wrong I do well still hunting but I think I would do better from stands.
