Dano, you know that you always have my best wishes.
I am full of a delicious meal that I cooked up on a whim after a twitch of a day at work. Settling down to a quiet evening with the one who has put up with me for 26 years, a gin and tonic, and a super dog. And the three stooges.

Tomorrow I will be at the rod and gun club with my best friends, shooting targets and having a campfire on Bull Run. Tough as it is, life is good, and I wish the same to you and all the good folk who convene on these pages. And those who don't.

May the New Year bring us peace and contentment with what we have, and successful conclusions to our ambitious endeavors. May we find renewed joy in our friends, and through careful listening, make friends of those we have not understood fully, as well as those we have not yet met.

And may it also bring us the ability to tell an a$$8o!3 when we see it.
