well this is my 2nd homemade quiver. i'm not as happy with this one in some ways, but over all it turned out ok. it would have been much easier if i had used some thicker leather instead of my deer hides. i also used some thin plastic to give it some form and a little more strength so it wouldn't fold up. i also used a pair of rubber flip-flops that i got for 2 bucks and cut them up for the bottom and the holder inside, the craft store didn't have any harder leather so the flip-flops worked out alright. the top is removable as show in the pics. hope you all like it.... You need to patent that buckskin color. How hard to remove the arrows from the side of this quiver or do you need to remove the top first? I like the first quiver better because it is closer to my preference for large heavy leather backquiver. Nice job here Jay.

The first one had some great art work but, this one is more my style. Both are great looking quivers! Excellent Work on both!

you do not need to remove the top to get the arrows out, unless you have some really long arrows. also the top center moves, so if the nock touches the top inside, while lifting the arrow to clear the bottom, with a small amount of pushing up it will give some. i made it pretty long over all so alot of different length arrows could be removed from the side port while the top was on and closed
