Anyone have a remedy for drying out the lenses of wet binoculars? Thanks

Put it in a bag of uncooked, dry rice for a day or so.  It's supposed to suck the moisture out.

I second the rice. Works with cell phones.

The rice is the ticket, I have used it for cameras and cell phones. The only pair of binos I ever had get moisture inside were never the same after that. Good luck

Kevin Winkler

I agree with zwickeyman. If they got moisture on the inside they will more than likely do it again. Sounds like the seal has broken and moisture will continue to get in.
Hope I'm wrong for your sake.

Thanks to all for the advice. I'll try the rice, but I think our dunking was too much for them.

If they are worth it, you might send them back to the company to replace the gas inside and reseal them. I had to do that with a pair of Leicas after a rainy mtn. goat hunt. They were covered by warranty, but I still had to pay shipping and insurance.
