The EFA bowquivers work very well with Montana bows. I have used these quivers on a wide variety of bows including the lightweight horse bows. If you look at my avatar you can see an EFA bowquiver on it. It was great on that Saluki bow. In 2008 an EFA bow quiver was on the Beeler longbow that won the Eagle Eye competition at Denton Hill.

We started the ultra-lightweight bow quiver trend several years ago, and now offer a larger variey of sizes and styles then anyone. At Eagle's alight Archery we like to say:

I bought one of the first Eagle's Flight 3 arrow quivers and though the new models have an improved attachment system, I really like my old quiver. It has held up well and is the lightest quiver you can get. That said, my next quiver will be their 4-arrow with the extra-large hood. That will give me three broadheads and a blunt in a very light package. I wouldn't even consider other quivers. Eagle's Flight has the best quality for the money.

Thanks all for the help and advice.  This is new ground for me as I just got my first Montana from mrpenguin yesterday.  I think you've convinced me to go with the EFA 3 or 4 arrow quiver.  My Montana feels like a pencil compared to my MH takedown with 3-arrow Alpine quiver!
Thanks again All.

Mike, I haven't used an EFA quiver, but I made one very similar to it and use it on my Montana.  I don't notice any difference in shooting the bow with or without the quiver.  My quiver doesn't look nearly as good as the EFA one but it is still really light and works well.  If I get a bought quiver it will be the EFA.  It's a really nice quiver and I think due to the light weight works well on a longbow.

Good luck with the Montana.  I really like mine.

I have used a GN quiver on my Montana.  The rubber strap on type.  It worked great.  Didn't hinder the bow that I could tell at all.  Great bow/quiver set up.  I don't use that Montana as much as I should lately, but thinking about it makes me want to get it down and take it out for a bit.
Silence is golden.

MikeP,

What part of WV are you in?  I'm in Morgantown and have a couple you could try out if you're close.  Have a Selway Slide on and a Selway Quick detatch.
