I was thinking of a wall tent for hunting state land.

What do you guys do for water for cooking and drinking when hunting on state land?

Do you use natural water sources with purifiers?

Bringing in large amounts of water would get very heavy.

No-sage

Water is going to be lighter than your wall tent.

I usually bring 5 gal for a week per man.

When we set up base camp it has been at the point of where the vehicle will take us. We bring 5 gallon collapsable jugs with us and fill up at the last town we pass. We also buy a case or two of bottled water.
Usually 30 gallons last 3 guys for a week. The jugs we use can be tied up in a tree and can be accessed for just about every thing we need.

Bowhunting is seeing how close you can get and never miss your mark!"

Do you guys shower during these hunts as that would consume much water?

Grey Taylor

I'm usually in the desert somewhere. All my water comes in the truck with me.
