Hey All, Looks like the wife is going to drag me to Vegas around the end of march. I was trying to come up with something more to do besides the strip. Was kind of thinking of javalina hunting. Is that open to hunting in the area about that time of year? Thanks, and Merry Christmas to all!

I don't know about the hunting, but I would definitely go to that pawn shop that's been on the History channel.

Jeez, I'm pretty sure that's too far north for Javi's....but I could be wrong....

Do a traditional jack rabbit hunt like Howard Hill and the boys did.
Some people live an entire lifetime and wonder if they have ever made a
difference in the world, but the Marines don't have that problem.

Thanks for the responce guys. I enjoy visiting pawn shops anyway so that one is already on the to do list. I'll have to check into the rabbit hunt.

There is no javalina in or around vegas area that I have herd of. Lake Mead has some big carp for the bow. The upper end of Lake Mead in the Virgin river below Mesquite has ferral hogs. No license was required in Nevada last time I checked for pigs. I have scouted it once and I did see tracks but hope to learn it better, could be a tough hunt.
