This might be a real stupid question, but on G.Fred Asbell's Mackinaw is the hood and shoulder part also part of the pullover. Or is it only the hood and shoulder part.
Thanks

Teresa Abells wool mackinaw works great, you can take off the hood and shoulder section and wear the pullover with just a hat.It fits well so you could layer underneath it or wear rain gear over it in a driving rain if that suited you.
Iam 6foot 3 and 280 lbs ,the sleeves are long enough and the body section fits well. Luke

Let me rephrase my question, I didn't ask it very well. When you buy the Mackinaw do you just get the hood and shoulder part or the whole shirt and shoulder part?
THANKS

No you get both the regular style pullover AND the separate part that constitutes the hood/shoulder cape.  Mine came today and it's great.

So let me get this right. The one that's $73, you get the shirt and the shoulder/hood thing????

I have two of the regular style pullovers and they are well made and warm.

Dang I thought I was the only one who didn't understand how the Mackinaw worked. I'm really glad I asked a (stupid) question. I think I'm gonna get the Mackinaw in the green and a vest wo/hood in the grey. I think that will work real nice on our cold PA. late seasons.

ron w ,

Yep, when you purchase the Mackinaw, you get a pullover shirt with no hood and the Mackinaw with hood.  todd
