Hey all,

I have some old Greenies and a few of the newer Blue Razorheads that I'd like to get some of the replaceable Bleeder blades for.  I don't think anyone makes them anymore, at least I haven't been able to find any.

Does anyone know where I can find a dozen?  And does anyone know if the same bleeder fits both styles of heads I have?

Of course if you have any you are not going to need or use, PM me and maybe we can work something out.

Thanks for the help.

I have 7 Greenies and 3 Blue Razorheads, 2 of which have their bleeder blades.  So I guess I could use 8.

If you have that many it would be fantastic.

Thanks so much for your help.

I have no idea if this works, but I seem to remember someone wrote an article in Bowhunter years ago and said he glued Schick injector razor blades in the slots instead of the bleeder blades. Never tried it myself. Schick blades may be just as hard to find now.

No....Schick injector will not work, not even close.   What folks did back then was to glue injector blades onto their main blades to add cutting power.  It wasn't all that popular and kinda' fizzled after awhile.

Jim Dougherty did that early in his career until he made the head that accepted injector blades in slots...it was a 3 blade head.

George,
I knew I read about some adapting with injector blades of some kind, but I was off target a bit.
Thanks for the correction.

Now I'm trying to remember the heads that were manufactured like that.  Maybe Mark 3.  I have to go look through the magazines again 8^).

If you want, give Mike, the owner of Flying arrow sports in Carmel, NY a call at 845-228-5330. He's got a few packs of Razorheads w/ bleeders hanging in the store
