Does anyone have pics of there longbows. I will be getting a new long bow in about 3 months. How are they and what is the price on them. With all the nice bows out there, it's realy hard picking out one. I have been shooting the same longbow for the past 11 years or more but do to injury I have to go down in waight. Thanks and merry christmass to all. John

I have spoken with the new owner and have been very impressed.

I don't think you could go wrong with pursuing the St. Joe River Bows.

I have a St Joe River LB that Dick Swager made for me earlier this year. It's 60" 57#@28". Great shooting bow. Hits hard, shoots to where I'm looking, and extremely quiet.
Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.

Mine was made by the previous owner.  Now, I understand didn't have the greatest rep.  I probably have 50 bows (girlfriend asked how many and I told her to count what in the rafters - she counted 44. The good bows were not in the rafters) and it is the most forgiving of the bunch.

I love that bow Fred.

Very unique.

I really like the wood combos he puts into his bows. The ones I shot at Compton's could've had better matched arrows and some silencers on them, they felt a little shocky to me. I would like to try them again with proper weight arrows and strings set up differently.

Don't think you'll be unhappy with a St. Joe River bow.  I've shot a few and they are very fine IMHO.  Believe you can find more pic's on their site.  They are sponsors here...

I had a couple that the former owner, Craig Potter, made and they were fine bows.  I liked the recurve better than the longbow, but that is just me.  Very smooth, very quiet and plenty fast.  I took a lot of critters with that recurve.
