how about the ms bowhunters therad on AT? I think thats it! :D hows the trad shooting coming along jwatts?

Well, seeing how I am sitting about 120miles out in the Gulf of Mexico, not too good. I will have a bow, a dozen arrows, all of my weights and field tips, and 2 full weeks off waiting on me when I get home Christmas day. I will let you know then. I have a feeling I will be more worried with shooting my new longbow than chasing whitetails this time in. I am about to die sitting out here knowing all of that is either at the house already, or will be there soon. I will literally be like a kid on Christmas when we finally crew change and I get home.

BOHO, That's awful nice of you. If I knew I would be able to hunt with it when I got in I would take you up on it. Since there is a good chance I won't be able to hit the broadside of a barn with it, I will pass. We may have to get together after I have had time to shoot it a while and shoot some. That way I will have at least a little practice under my belt, but will still be new enough to have an excuse for all of the misses that are sure to be involved.

sounds like a plan. maybe we can meet up around turkey season and do some turkey hunting and stump shooting. weather should be permittin by then.
